DJI Launches Dock 3: A Game-Changing

Equipped with high-performance DJI Matrice 4D/4TD drones, the new DJI Dock 3 offers adaptable, vehicle-mounted deployment options, enabling continuous operations in diverse environments.

DJI has unveiled the DJI Dock 3, its first "Drone in a Box" solution for round-the-clock remote operations. Mountable on vehicles, the DJI Dock 3 empowers seamless drone missions across various environments, including public safety, emergency response, and infrastructure inspections. It is paired with the latest DJI Matrice 4D and Matrice 4TD drones, expanding the capabilities of the DJI Matrice 4 series by enhancing flight performance and durability.

Adaptable to Extreme Conditions
The DJI Dock 3 is designed for use in harsh environments, capable of functioning in extreme temperatures from as high as 50°C (122°F) to as low as -30°C (-22°F) with its pre-heating feature. It also boasts IP56-rated protection against dust and water. The accompanying Matrice 4D and 4TD drones feature low-noise, anti-ice propellers that maintain flight stability even in freezing rain and strong winds up to 12 meters per second.

Flexible Deployment and Long-Range Transmission
The DJI Dock 3 supports flexible emergency operations and inspections over long distances. It is optimized for vehicle-mounted use, offering horizontal and cloud-based dock location calibration. In a new feature, two docks can be mounted on a single vehicle to allow dual-drone rotations. Additionally, an optional D-RTK 3 Relay Fixed Deployment version for fixed deployments can enhance video transmission and satellite acquisition by reducing interference.

Advanced Features of Matrice 4D and 4TD Drones
The DJI Matrice 4D and 4TD drones come equipped with IP55-rated dust and water resistance, offering up to 54 minutes of flight time and 47 minutes of hovering. Each drone is outfitted with a wide-angle camera, medium tele camera, tele camera, and Laser Range Finder. The Matrice 4D is built for precision mapping and detailed surface inspection, while the Matrice 4TD adds infrared and night vision capabilities for enhanced public safety and emergency applications.

Seamless Aerial Relay for Extended Missions
With the DJI RC Plus 2 remote controller, the Matrice 4D series offers a relay function that allows one drone to extend the operational range of another, even in signal-blocking environments. This is especially useful for search-and-rescue missions in remote or obstructed areas.

Enhanced Accessories for Diverse Applications
New Matrice 4D/4TD accessories include the Obstacle Sensing Module for precise navigation in complex environments, the AL1 SpotLight for long-range illumination, and the AS1 Speaker for broadcasting over 300 meters. Additionally, the drones support third-party payloads via an expanded port system., which allows, provides, and broadcasts.

Intelligent Aerial Operations for Efficient Remote Control
When paired with DJI FlightHub 2, DJI Dock 3 enables more intelligent, automated missions. Operators can set automated flight routes, detect temperature anomalies, and receive alerts in real-time. The refreshed Virtual Cockpit interface further enhances control with new Mouselook functionality, allowing operators to center the camera on the target swiftly real-time alerts.

Industry-leading data Security and Compliance
DJI continues prioritizing data security with ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 certifications for its FlightHub 2 system. Customers retain complete control of their data, which is protected by AES-256 encryption. DJI also complies with C6 airspace regulations through its Flight Termination System, ensuring added operational safety.
