Requirements

What are you going to do?

As part of the landscape team, you will work with urban planners and architects at KCAP on area developments, transformations, waterfront projects, parks and campuses. In addition to creating master plans and area visions, an increasing amount of work consists of realizing landscape projects. You will work on international and national projects from Rotterdam. Examples of these are the public spaces of Stadshavens; a new part of the city in Groningen with 3300 homes. On the Waal in Nijmegen we are designing the public space of the Waalkwartier and the Honigcomplex and in Roermond we are working on an integral area development for 400 homes and a marina with a landscape park and flood barrier. In Bratislava, Slovakia we are working on a pocket park at a 260 meter and 184 meter high residential tower and in Zeebrugge in Belgium we are designing an urban coastal defense landscape in the Vissershaven. As a project leader you are responsible for both the content and the process of the landscape assignment of one or more projects, often within a larger multidisciplinary team. Together with a partner and/or associate partner, you oversee your projects. You communicate internally with the project team specifically composed for each project and externally with collaboration partners, clients and stakeholders. You monitor the progress of the project and adjust where necessary.

What we ask of you:

· Some experience in project management

· You have at least 5 years of relevant work experience;

· Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken);

· You have completed a degree in landscape design or landscape architecture (higher professional education or academic);

· Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Vectorworks and/or AutoCAD;

· You can independently implement and design projects, manage employees and maintain contact with clients.

Do you recognize yourself in this profile? We look forward to your application (including portfolio) and hope to meet you soon for a cup of coffee at our office in Rotterdam!
