Work environment

The Service Technology Diagnostics department develops and operates the vehicle diagnostic system ODIS with over 60,000 users worldwide. With ODIS, the entire vehicle electronics are commissioned, tested, updated, and repair processes on the vehicle are documented. Another component of ODIS is Guided Fault Finding. It includes a step-by-step guide to identifying the faulty component and is subject to constant change. To ensure the timely development, programming, and publication of Guided Fault Finding, project management has been set up in the VST-3/4 sub-department. You will become part of the team and be responsible for the project management of Guided Fault Finding.

Possible tasks within this role

Conduct database-supported research of vehicle projects starting worldwide within the VW Group

Quantify the change effort

Determine the progress (maturity level) and capacity balancing with tool support

Report to the project management

Improve the applied processes and methods in terms of their effectiveness and efficiency

Qualification requirements

Students of engineering sciences, business administration, or industrial engineering with completed basic studies 

Good to very good academic performance 

German language level C1 

Good knowledge of common MS Office applications, especially PowerPoint, Excel, Teams 

Knowledge in project management, e.g., from lectures or previous work experience, is desirable 

Ability to work independently and take initiative Knowledge of Jira, Confluence is desirable
