The Role

Responsible for drafting, reviewing and releasing process documents for workshop.

Maintain BOM accuracy and rationality of production.

Responsible for the whole process of new product introduction, such as early assembly key point identification, PFMEA, preparation of process documents.

Improve the assembly process, advanced manufacturing process and automated assembly process development.

Calculate capacity and propose plant layout according to forecast.

Manage and improve standard working hours.

Drafting and updating process documents for localization projects.

Solve various manufacturing engineering-related problems encountered in the daily production line.

Implement CIP methodology  such as Standardization, Lean, Kaizen activities..

Other tasks to be assigned by the manager.

What you can expect from us? 

As Production IE for the Innovation Centre in Asia, you will be part of our Asian Hub within the Global Projects organization. We have the responsibility to produce multiple products/projects to support the growing business of ICA globally.

You have the responsibility in this role to ensure the products delivery meets the targets of lead time, cost, and quality.  And also, be responsible for standard product delivery to division with standard cost, lead time, and within quality.

Problem-solving will take up a great part of your day. You will have opportunities to learn, to share & to work in close collaboration with our Workshop, R&D, Purchasing, Quality, and Project team.

What we expect of you? 

Education

Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering, electromechanical, automation or mechanical.

Experience

At least 3 years working experience in IE.

Familiar with new product introduction process.

Familiar with multi-variety, small-batch production mode.

Have strong initiative and teamwork ability.

Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and motivate others to achieve within the required timeframe.

Result oriented and a creative problem solver.

Project experience will be a plus.

Skilled SolidWorks will be a plus.

Knowledge

Knowledge of IE tools

Knowledge of lean production.

Mechanical and electrical knowledge.

Analytical problem-solving skills.
