The prestigious prize awarded by a jury of readers and journalists of "4x4 Magazine", the leading specialised 4x4 magazine in France. The most appreciated version was the Renegade Trailhawk, the top-of-the-range that combines in a single product the best of Jeep off-road technology and the greatest engine innovation from FCA. In 30 editions, 5 Jeep models have been awarded by "4x4 Magazine".

The Jeep Renegade has been elected "4x4 of the year 2015" by a jury of readers and journalists of the leading specialised 4x4 magazine in France, "4x4 Magazine". The prestigious title confirms the winning features of the compact SUV which, in many countries in the EMEA region, has become one of the best sellers in its segment. But this is not the first time a Jeep has convinced the experts of the French magazine. In the 30 editions of the award, it has been preceded by the Cherokee TD in 1986, Cherokee 4.0 L (1989), Grand Cherokee (1994) and Wrangler in 2008. 

The French award is added to the many trophies that the Jeep Renegade has already achieved. To mention a few: the title "New car of the Year 2015" awarded by the well-known Italian automotive magazine Quattroruote and "Best SUV of 2015" awarded by the internet site Coches.net, leader on the Spanish motoring scene. Now it is the turn of the "4x4 Magazine" jury, who commended the extraordinary performances of the Renegade Trailhawk, the top-of-the-range version that combines in a single product the best of Jeep off-road technology and the greatest engine innovation from FCA. It is equipped, in fact, with the powerful 170 HP 2.0 Multijet combined with a nine-speed automatic gearbox and "Jeep Active Drive Low" four-wheel drive with a final drive ratio of 20:1.

Made in Italy in the renovated FCA Melfi Plant and sold in over 100 countries in the world, including the United States, the Jeep Renegade can boast top-class off-road capacities, excellent dynamism when driving on-road, an exclusive nine-speed gearbox, two 4x4 drive systems, engines with efficient consumption and a fast range of safety devices which, along with the innovative "4x4 Small Wide architecture", have enabled it to win the Euro NCAP 5 stars.
